River Bend Chairs

   Chairs from River Bend are among the few that are still made by hand.  Seats are carved from wide white pine, which means no glued up planks.   They are deeply saddled for comfort and authenticity.  Seat bottoms are hand planed and then deeply branded.  On all chairs, plane marks are clearly in the undersides of the seats.  The chairmaker's initials show the maker's mark.
